GST returns

GST returns built from your books, not retyped into them

Your returns come from the same vouchers as your accounts, so the figures start out matched. Review them, drill into any number, and export what you need for filing.

GSTR-1

See outward supplies the way the return asks for them, and open the underlying invoice behind any line.

  • B2B and B2C invoice views
  • HSN summary
  • Filter and sort by any column
  • Excel export for the summary, invoices and HSN data

GSTR-3B

Compare your tax liability against eligible input tax credit each month, and preview the set-off and payment table before you file.

  • Outward supplies and their invoices
  • Eligible ITC register
  • Tax liability against ITC, month by month
  • Set-off and payment preview

Filing stays on the GST portal

Fintog prepares and checks your figures. You, or your accountant, file on the GST portal. We would rather be clear about that than let you assume otherwise.

Common questions

Does Fintog file my GST return directly?

No. Fintog prepares GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B figures and exports them to Excel. Filing itself happens on the GST portal, by you or your accountant.

Where do the GST figures come from?

From the vouchers in your books. A sales or purchase voucher with GST feeds both your accounts and your returns, so there is no second copy to keep in sync.

Does Fintog reconcile with GSTR-2B?

Not today. Fintog keeps an eligible ITC register from your purchase vouchers, but it does not import or match GSTR-2B.
